🎤 MUSIC UPDATES

I’ve been considering changing my name on streaming platforms to SongsBySummer instead of Summer Yuki 🤔. I love my name though. I’ve gotten mixed feedback on whether to do this.

⭐️ Songs in the pipeline:

» Find a Way to Love Me — Momo came over to work on production with me. I produced a demo, but it’s great to have another set to ears on it. Production is unfinished but I feel like it’s close.

» See Yourself Out > still need to finish production but have to link with the producer bc it’s a proper collab.

✍️ MUSINGS

On getting coffee

I want to develop meaningful relationships with individuals. So I’ve been having 1:1s over coffee.

Meaningful relationships warm my heart, but my heart has been guarded, so building them wasn’t something I had the bandwidth to process. It upped my anxiety and drained my social battery. But I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. It’s rewarding and my therapist is proud of me.

Outside of these 1:1s, I went to Vinyl & Vino: Rihanna ANTI listening party, In Transit, Dub Club, and Funky Sole. I stopped by Boombox for two seconds so idk if I can count that. None of the events played the same genre of music, but they all played vinyl.
